Baghdad:The Ministry of Interior has denied reports regarding changes to its positions and leadership. This denial comes amidst circulating news suggesting alterations within the ministry’s key departments.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministry issued a statement on Thursday addressing the claims. The statement pointed out that misinformation had been spread by some social media platforms about leadership changes and the assignment of positions within the Ministry of Interior.

The ministry’s statement categorically denied these reports and emphasized the importance of acquiring information from official sources.
