Baghdad: The Ministry of Interior expressed its gratitude and appreciation to its Kuwaiti counterpart for facilitating the return of stranded Iraqi pilgrims to the country.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry expressed sincere thanks to Kuwait for the humanitarian effort of enabling the entry of stranded Iraqi travelers and pilgrims through the airport and ensuring their subsequent land crossing into Iraqi territory. This assistance became necessary following the imposition of an air travel ban due to recent regional events.
The Iraqi Ministry of Interior emphasized the depth of the bilateral relationship between Iraq and Kuwait, highlighting the strong ties and cooperation that exist between the two nations within the Arab and regional spheres.
