Baghdad: The Ministry of Justice has announced the donation of school trips produced by correctional facilities to the Ministry of Education.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, this initiative was carried out under the direction of the Minister of Justice, Dr. Khalid Shawani, as part of the Ministry’s commitment to developing reform and rehabilitation programs. The correctional institutions involved in this project included the prisons of Babylon Central, Al-Adala/2, Nasiriyah Central, Baghdad Central, and Najaf.

These school trips were crafted by inmates under the supervision of specialized staff, showcasing the skills and energies acquired by inmates through productive work. This initiative serves the public benefit by utilizing these skills in a constructive manner.
