Baghdad: The Ministry of Oil held a meeting today, Wednesday, to set Iraqi oil prices in global markets. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil Hayan Abdul-Ghani Al-Sawad.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the focus of the meeting was a detailed review of research submitted by the State Oil Marketing Organization (SOMO) on global markets. The discussions aimed to determine appropriate pricing for Iraqi oil in international markets.
