Babil: The Ministry of Construction, Housing, and Municipalities has announced that 90% of the work on the water project connecting Al-Musayyib, Al-Iskandariya, and Jurf Al-Nasr in Babil Governorate is complete. The project is being overseen by the Ministry’s General Directorate of Water.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry emphasized the project’s importance, noting that it will significantly enhance water services in the region. The initiative aims to supply potable water to more than 300,000 residents across the beneficiary areas. The project boasts a design capacity of 6,000 cubic meters per hour, with water transmission lines stretching over 42 kilometers.
The completion of this project is expected to address water scarcity issues and improve living conditions for the communities within the affected regions of Babil Governorate.
