Karbala: More than 80 pilgrims from the Islamic Republic of Iran suffered food poisoning in several hotels in the holy Karbala Governorate due to food produced by an Iranian restaurant for several hotels hosting Iranian pilgrims. A health source, who declined to be identified, stated that the emergency departments at Al-Husseini and Al-Safir hospitals received the injured and are providing them with first aid.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the source mentioned that the number of injured is likely to increase due to the large amount of food distributed to the hotels.
