Mosul: Al-Mosul held Al-Zawraa to a 2-2 draw in the fifth round of the Iraqi Premier League. Al-Zawraa initially took the lead with a goal from Mohammed Qasim in the 33rd minute, and Hassan Abdul-Karim extended their lead in the 71st minute. The match seemed to be in Al-Zawraa’s favor until the final moments.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Mosul staged a dramatic comeback in stoppage time. Youssef Osama scored in the second minute of stoppage time, igniting hope for the team. Shortly after, Syrian player Alaa El-Din Al-Dali scored the equalizer in the fifth minute of stoppage time, securing a 2-2 draw.

Al-Zawraa now holds 9 points and stands in third place in the league, while Al-Mosul follows closely with 8 points in fourth place.
