Hilla: A motorcyclist was injured after falling into one of the openings of the large Hilla sewage project. The incident occurred on 60th Street this morning, leading to the motorcyclist sustaining fractures due to the absence of warning signs around the open manhole.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Civil Defense Media Director Aqeel Abdullah reported that Civil Defense teams successfully rescued the motorcyclist from the open manhole within the Greater Hilla sewage project. The fall resulted in the motorcyclist suffering from fractures.

Abdullah further stated that the injured motorcyclist was promptly transferred to Hilla Surgical Hospital to receive necessary medical treatment.
