MPs Criticize Government’s Silence over Repeated American Attacks

Baghdad: Members of various parliamentary blocs have expressed strong disapproval of what they perceive as the government’s lack of response to ongoing American attacks on security forces and the targeting of Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) headquarters. They are calling for immediate and decisive measures to counter these violations and safeguard Iraq’s security and sovereignty.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during a joint press conference, MP Alaa al-Haidari, the head of the Al-Asas Coalition bloc, warned of a firm parliamentary response if the government continues to remain silent. He emphasized the necessity for the government to address these threats and violations with genuine seriousness, highlighting the impact on the safety of citizens and the integrity of Iraq’s territory.
