Najaf:The Najaf Criminal Court has sentenced a drug dealer to death for drug trafficking offenses.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Supreme Judicial Council reported that the individual was convicted after being found with methamphetamine and opium, which he intended to distribute and sell. The court’s decision was made under Article 27, Clause First, of the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Law No. 50 of 2017.
