Najaf:The Najaf Criminal Court has sentenced a man to death by hanging for the murder of a person using a hookah bottle.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the court convicted the man of stabbing the victim to death with a broken hookah bottle during a fight in a cafe located in the Al-Nidaa neighborhood, north of the province.

In addition to the murder charge, the individual was also found guilty of seriously injuring three other people during the same incident.
