Najaf: A new director has been appointed to manage the municipality of the province, and the previous director has been granted leave. An official document signed by the Governor of Najaf reveals an administrative order granting the current Director of the Najaf Municipality, Karar Al-Mawashi, two months of annual leave and appointing Wissam Al-Mahna as acting director.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, this decision comes after pressure was exerted on the governor to change the directors of departments in the province. The administrative reshuffle reflects ongoing efforts to address governance issues and improve the efficiency of municipal operations in Najaf.
