Najaf Police Senior Deputy Monitors Security Plan Amid Pilgrimage

Najaf: The Najaf Police Command has announced that Hussein Al-Awadi, the Senior Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, is actively conducting meetings and field visits in Najaf. These efforts are part of an ongoing initiative to assess the security situation and preparedness levels during the commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) death anniversary.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Najaf Police Media Officer Mufid Salem reported that Al-Awadi visited security forces stationed in the Old City of Najaf. During his visit, he received a detailed briefing on their duties and responsibilities. Salem highlighted that Al-Awadi urged the forces to exert maximum effort, enhance their readiness and discipline, and maintain a strong field presence to ensure the safety of pilgrims and facilitate a smooth pilgrimage experience.

Furthermore, Al-Awadi emphasized the importance of showcasing the strength and authority of the Ministry of Interior personnel. He stressed that this should be achieved through responsible behavior, strict law enforcement, and respectful interaction with both citizens and pilgrims. His directives aim to bolster security and stability in the region during this significant religious event.
