NAJAF: The Imam of Najaf Friday, Sadr al-Din al-Qabanji, has identified the death of Yahya Sinwar, the head of the political bureau of Hamas, as the most significant event of the week. This announcement was made during his political sermon delivered in Najaf.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Qabanji expressed that the situation signifies a turning point, suggesting that Israel is experiencing increasing challenges both domestically and internationally. He pointed to ongoing demonstrations within Israel and comments from international leaders, noting that the President of France recently labeled Israel as a “terrorist state.”
Al-Qabanji further indicated that the world is witnessing a collective awakening, which he described as not only Islamic but also humanitarian and led by followers of the Ahl al-Bayt. He believes this movement is advocating for the victory of divine justice and support for the oppressed.
