Baghdad: The National Center for International Judicial Cooperation announced the documentation of the testimony of a Yazidi survivor of captivity. The center stated that, after completing legal procedures by the First Karkh Investigation Court, it heard the testimony of a Yazidi survivor via video conference during the court session held on May 7, 2025.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the center received a request for legal assistance from the Pristina Basic Court in Kosovo. This request was filed against the terrorist criminal Murad Diranjani, who was involved in committing serious crimes and violations during his time with the terrorist ISIS entity in Iraq and Syria.

The center noted that after examining the archived data, it was determined that the Iraqi victim was a Yazidi survivor. She had been kidnapped, enslaved, and assaulted by a criminal known as Abu Yahya al-Almani, who is involved in committing crimes against humanity and genocide.

The center reiterated its commitment to facilitating international judicial cooperation mechanisms, particularly in cases related to human rights violations and crimes against humanity, with the aim of achieving justice for victims and promoting accountability.
