Baghdad: National Security Advisor Qasim al-Aboudi met with Badr Organization Secretary-General Hadi al-Amiri to discuss the latest political and security developments in Iraq. The National Security Advisory stated in a press release: "Al-Aboudi received al-Amiri on Tuesday evening, and the meeting addressed the latest political and security developments within Iraq, as well as reviewing the evolving situation in the region."
According to National Iraqi News Agency, they also discussed ways to strengthen and develop institutional work in accordance with the government program's vision and objectives across all sectors, in addition to emphasizing support for the implementation of the promising program of Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi.
During the meeting, al-Aboudi reiterated the commitment to building a strong, capable, and inclusive Iraq, praising al-Amiri's political and national role and his supportive stance on institutional reform. He expressed his deep appreciation for al-Amiri's visit, which represents significant support for the National Security Advisory's efforts to fulfill its national duties and bolster the ongoing work to enhance national security.
