NATO Announces the Death of 4 US Soldiers in Lithuania


Vilnius: NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte announced on Wednesday the deaths of four missing US soldiers in Lithuania. “As I was speaking, there were reports of the deaths of four US soldiers in an incident in Lithuania,” Rutte told reporters, adding that he had no further details.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Lithuanian Army had announced earlier on Wednesday that searches were underway for four US soldiers and an armored vehicle that went missing on Tuesday afternoon. The US Army reported earlier today that four US soldiers were missing while conducting tactical training in an area outside the Lithuanian capital, Vilnius.
