Antalya: Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Antalya, southwestern Turkey, on Saturday.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Barzani stated in a post on his Twitter account that the discussions with Lavrov focused on cooperation between the Kurdistan Region and Iraq with Russia. They also exchanged views on regional developments, highlighting the significance of ongoing diplomatic engagements.

The meeting took place during the fourth edition of the Antalya International Diplomatic Forum, which began on Friday. The forum saw the participation of heads of state and government, foreign ministers, and representatives from various international organizations, signaling its importance as a platform for global diplomatic dialogue.
