Jerusalem: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has issued a warning to Damascus, asserting that the recent deployment of Turkish military forces at an airbase near Aleppo threatens Israeli security. Netanyahu emphasized that Israel and Syria had previously reached a mutual understanding concerning security arrangements, and accused Damascus of attempting to disrupt this agreement by allowing Turkish forces to establish a presence at the base.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Netanyahu explained that Israel had repeatedly cautioned Syria against permitting the Turkish military presence at the airbase, but Damascus has disregarded these warnings. The Israeli Prime Minister made it clear that Israel will not accept any threats to its security, while also expressing a desire for a return to the previously established security arrangement.
