Baghdad:A new shipment of US dollar cash has arrived in Iraq, announced Iraqi Government Spokesperson Haider Al-Aboudi. This delivery is part of ongoing agreements with the United States to address Iraq’s foreign currency needs.

According to Iraqi News Agency, Al-Aboudi revealed that the shipment arrived on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. This operation aligns with the current agreements intended to ensure a steady flow of foreign currency, fulfilling Iraq’s cash requirements under established policies.

Al-Aboudi previously disclosed that Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi secured understandings with the United States to guarantee the continued supply of US dollar cash to Iraq, catering to legitimate foreign currency demands.
