Nineveh: Nineveh Provincial Council member Marwan al-Taie called for the return of displaced Christian families to their areas after the local government reconstructed a number of destroyed churches in the city of Mosul.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Taie emphasized that the return of Christian families will support stability and the return of normal life to the region. He highlighted the council’s ongoing efforts to rehabilitate the old area and restore its cultural heritage. Al-Taie also called for concerted efforts to support reconstruction and ensure the return of residents.
