Pyongyang: North Korean leader Kim Jong Un stressed the need to continue strengthening his country’s military to become an invincible entity capable of deterring any threats that may threaten the country.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the North Korean leader’s remarks came during a military parade held to mark the 80th anniversary of the founding of the ruling Workers’ Party of Korea. Leader Kim Jong Un called for the continued development of the armed forces to become an “invincible” entity, stressing his determination to enhance the country’s defense capabilities without posing any direct threat to any other country.

He added: “Our army must continue to grow into an invincible entity, destroying all threats approaching the scope of our self-defense, thanks to its political, military, and technological superiority that crushes the enemy. It must constantly strengthen itself to become an elite armed force that achieves victory after victory through the power of morality and discipline.”

Kim also highlighted the “heroic fighting spirit” of the revolutionary armed forces, emphasizing the victories achieved on foreign battlefields for international justice and true peace as embodying the ideological and spiritual perfection of the North Korean army.
