Officially Announced: Moayad Al-Lami and Jabbar Tarad Elected as Vice Presidents of Iraqi Journalists Syndicate


Baghdad: The judicial committee overseeing the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate elections announced the victory of Moayad Al-Lami for the position of Vice President with 1,291 votes, and Jabbar Tarad for the position of Vice President with 981 votes.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the elections were conducted under the supervision of the judicial committee to ensure transparency and fairness in the selection process. Moayad Al-Lami and Jabbar Tarad emerged victorious in a competitive election, securing their positions as Vice Presidents of the syndicate.



The election results mark a significant development for the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate as both Al-Lami and Tarad bring their extensive experience and leadership skills to the organization. Their election is expected to contribute positively to the syndicate’s efforts in advocating for journalists’ rights and enhancing the press environment in Iraq.
