Baghdad: The Minister of Oil, Bassem Mohammed Khudair al-Abadi, held a meeting with a delegation from the American company Chevron to discuss initiatives aimed at advancing the oil industry. The discussions centered around collaborative projects that could potentially enhance the sector’s development.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Oil released a statement indicating that the meeting was attended by key officials, including the Undersecretary for Extraction Affairs, Naseer Aziz, and Karim Yasser, the Director General of the Petroleum Contracts and Licensing Department. The dialogue focused on various topics pertinent to the development of the oil industry, underlining the strategic importance of these projects for the sector’s future growth.
