Baghdad:Oil Minister Basim Mohammed Khudair Al-Abadi emphasized the significance of gas investment projects.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the minister met with a delegation from TotalEnergies, including Julien Pouget, the company’s Director for the Middle East and North Africa, and Dunya Al-Chalabi, the company’s Iraq Branch Manager. The discussions centered on TotalEnergies’ projects in Iraq.

The meeting underscored the importance of these gas investment projects, which align with the Ministry’s objectives to enhance gas utilization, reduce flaring, and increase national gas production. The Ministry remains committed to accelerating the implementation of these projects in line with approved plans and timelines.
