Basra: The President of the Iraqi Olympic Committee, Aqeel Muftan, has issued an order to establish a new administrative board for Al-Minaa Club, appointing Basra Governor Asaad Al-Eidani as the head. This move marks a significant step in the restructuring of the club’s management.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the order includes the formation of a temporary administrative board tasked with overseeing the club’s daily operations. The board will also be responsible for organizing elections to elect a new permanent board within a three-month timeframe.
The temporary administrative board comprises several notable members. Asaad Abdul-Amir Abdul-Ghaffar Al-Eidani will serve as the Chairman, with Haider Aboud Salman Faza’ as the Vice Chairman. Ali Lafteh Mreij Issa has been appointed as the Secretary, and Bashar Hadi Ahmed Bashir will take on the role of Treasurer. Additional members of the board include Shaker Mahmoud Lafteh Al-Tamimi, Aqeel Talib Kadhim Mohsen, Ahmed Jassim Naeem Al-Asadi, Khaled Hamid Katea Al-Saad, and Omar Alaa Al-Din Ahmed.
This administrative overhaul is expected to pave the way for enhanced governance and operational efficiency at Al-Minaa Club, ensuring its readiness for future challenges and opportunities.
