Sanaa: The Houthi group in Yemen announced the killing and wounding of 14 people as a result of a US airstrike targeting the capital, Sana’a. Anis Al-Asbahi, spokesman for the Houthi-controlled Ministry of Health, reported that US aircraft targeted a building in a residential neighborhood in the Asr area of the Ma’in district of Sana’a with several airstrikes, resulting in the death of one citizen and injuries to 13 others.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Asbahi stated that among the injured were three children and two women, as per the final toll. Al-Asbahi attributed political and moral responsibility to the United States, the international community, and international and humanitarian organizations for the “consequences of the deliberate targeting and bombing of civilian facilities and residential neighborhoods.”

He urged the international community, including its countries, organizations, and human rights and humanitarian institutions, to “expose and criminalize the violations of the US aggression that target civilian objects and civilians.” On Sunday evening, the Houthis announced that US aircraft had targeted the Asr area of the capital, Sana’a, as well as the districts of Sahar and Saqayn in Saada Governorate in the north of the country, with several airstrikes.
