Islamabad: The Pakistani Foreign Ministry has announced its ongoing commitment to resolving the Middle East crisis. The ministry emphasized its determination to bring the conflicting parties to the negotiating table in Islamabad, highlighting its proactive role in mediating peace efforts.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Foreign Ministry confirmed that the Interior Minister is presently visiting Iran to bolster security and peace initiatives in the region. The ministry outlined Islamabad’s vigorous efforts to prevent any setbacks to the peace process and expressed hope for achieving peace between the United States and Iran.
The ministry also declared its support for the freedom of navigation for commercial vessels in the sea lanes. It stated that Pakistan is utilizing all available communication channels to implement the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, aiming to encourage the conflicting parties to return to negotiations.
