Pakistani Prime Minister Vows Continued Mediation Amid Gulf Escalation

Baghdad: Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed his concern on Tuesday regarding the escalation in the Gulf, while affirming his country's continued mediation role between Iran and the United States to achieve regional peace and stability.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Sharif stated, "We will continue our mediation role and are committed to regional peace and stability." He emphasized the importance of restraint, urging all parties involved to refrain from any actions that could destabilize the region.

Sharif highlighted Pakistan's dedication to fostering dialogue and cooperation in the Gulf, stressing the need for diplomatic efforts to mitigate tensions. His remarks underscore Pakistan's proactive stance in promoting peace and stability amidst ongoing regional challenges.
