Baghdad: Palestinian Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad Mustafa, along with Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi, arrived in Baghdad on Wednesday evening to attend the preparatory ministerial meeting of the Council of Arab Foreign Ministers. This meeting is part of the 34th regular session of the Arab Summit.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement confirming the arrival of Mohammad Mustafa and Ayman Safadi in Baghdad for the significant diplomatic gathering. The statement noted that Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ahmed Nayef Rashid Al-Dulaimi welcomed the two ministers upon their arrival at Baghdad International Airport.
Al-Dulaimi emphasized the strong bilateral relations between Iraq and both Jordan and Palestine. He highlighted Iraq’s commitment to enhancing cooperation and coordination to address key Arab issues, particularly the Palestinian issue, and to support joint Arab efforts in tackling regional and international challenges.
