Baghdad: Hamas and other Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip warned of the dangers of the proposed US resolution for managing the Strip, while simultaneously welcoming the proposed Arab-Islamic model in this regard. According to National Iraqi News Agency, in a statement, the Palestinian factions said that "the proposed Arab-Islamic model for managing the Gaza Strip represents the most acceptable option." The factions warned against the US draft resolution on Gaza, considering it "an attempt to impose international trusteeship on the Strip." The statement emphasized "the rejection of any clause in the US draft resolution related to disarming Gaza or infringing upon the Palestinian people's right to resistance."
