Baghdad: Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Haibat al-Halbousi, and the Libyan Government of National Unity’s envoy, Taher Salem al-Baour, who is also in charge of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, emphasized the importance of coordinating positions in international forums on Sunday.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the Speaker’s Media Office stated in a press release that Speaker of Parliament, Haibat al-Halbousi, received the Libyan Government of National Unity’s envoy, Taher Salem al-Baour, and his accompanying delegation. The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations between Iraq and Libya and enhancing joint cooperation at all levels for the benefit of both countries.

The statement further noted that the meeting highlighted the significance of coordinating positions in international forums concerning issues of common interest.
