Baghdad: Speaker of Parliament Haibat al-Halbousi offered his condolences to the Iraqi people and the Muslim world on Tuesday, on the occasion of Arba'een, the fortieth day after the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).

According to Iraqi News Agency, the Speaker's media office stated in a press release: "Speaker of Parliament Haibat al-Halbousi offered his condolences to the Iraqi people and the Muslim world on the occasion of Arba'een, the fortieth day after the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him)."

The statement highlighted the Speaker's gratitude and appreciation for the efforts exerted by the security forces in ensuring a safe environment for the pilgrimage.
