Baghdad: The Parliamentary Finance Committee held a joint meeting today, Saturday, with the Board of Trustees of the Iraqi Media Network to discuss the network’s current operations and mechanisms for developing its institutional performance, as well as reviewing its financial and administrative needs to enhance the role of official media.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the head of the Parliamentary Finance Committee affirmed the committee’s commitment to supporting national institutions that play a pivotal role in establishing professionalism and transparency. The importance of providing a suitable environment that enables the Iraqi Media Network to carry out its tasks efficiently, in accordance with applicable legal and financial frameworks, was emphasized.

For its part, the Board of Trustees of the Iraqi Media Network reviewed the most prominent challenges facing the network’s work, along with future plans aimed at developing media performance and strengthening its national mission.
