Parliamentary Finance Committee Discusses Al-Rafidain Bank’s Annual Plans and Digital Transformation Strategies


Baghdad: The Parliamentary Finance Committee held a joint meeting today, Monday, with Al-Rafidain Bank Director Ali Karim Hussein to review the bank’s operations, its annual plan, and its loan and advance activities.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, at the beginning of the meeting, Committee Chairman MP Atwan Al-Atwani emphasized Parliament’s interest in monitoring the performance of the banking sector, highlighting the importance of adhering to transparency, quality standards, and the shift toward digital automation.



Al-Atwani noted that digital transformation is a crucial step in streamlining procedures, particularly with regard to withdrawals, deposits, and loans for financing economic projects. He added that the meeting also aims to assess the current status of Al-Rafidain Bank and gain insight into its future strategy.
