Baghdad: PM and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi directed the formation of an investigative committee tasked with identifying the sources and launching points of the attack that targeted the office of the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq.

According to Iraqi News Agency, an investigative committee is to be formed, tasked with identifying the sources and launching points of the attack that targeted the office of the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq, Masrour Barzani, and the residence of the Director of the Intelligence Agency in the Kurdistan Region, in Erbil.

Al-Zaidi also directed that the results of the investigation be announced to the public as soon as possible and that all circumstances surrounding the attack and the parties behind it be identified.
