According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Sudani expressed his heartfelt condolences to Muslims and free people worldwide on the occasion of Ashura, commemorating Imam Hussein. He highlighted that Imam Hussein’s stance has rendered him a symbol of human values and authentic meanings, advocating for absolute goodness against evil. The memory of his martyrdom continues to serve as an enduring source of inspiration and high principles.

Al-Sudani concluded his message by offering peace to Hussein on his eternal memory and to those martyred alongside him in the significant Karbala epic.
