Baghdad: The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) announced on Wednesday the martyrdom of 20 of its members and the wounding of 32 others in the US-Saudi attacks.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the PMF stated that the strikes, described as a joint US-Saudi aggression, targeted multiple official PMF headquarters across several Iraqi provinces. The initial toll from these attacks indicates that at least 20 fighters lost their lives, while 32 others sustained injuries.

The attacks reportedly took place in various governorates, including Baghdad, Wasit, Nineveh, Basra, Kirkuk, Karbala, and Diyala. These strikes resulted in material damage to headquarters, vehicles, and military equipment belonging to the PMF.

The PMF statement highlighted that specialized committees are actively engaged in field assessments to determine the extent of the damage and to verify the initial reports. It was noted that the current figures regarding casualties are preliminary and may be revised as search and verification operations proceed and more comprehensive field reports are finalized.
