Karbala: Poet Hashim Al-Arabi passed away at the age of 79.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Arabi was a member of the Iraqi and Arab Writers Union. He leaves behind a significant literary legacy, having authored numerous poetry collections and books that delve into the meters of both classical and colloquial Arabic poetry.
