Baghdad: The Baghdad/Karkh Police Command denied reports circulating about the presence of a narcotic plant in a garden in the Al-Salihiya area of Baghdad.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Command issued a statement clarifying that the site was inspected, and after examination, it was determined to be a wild plant that poses no danger and is unrelated to narcotic plants.

Security officials have urged citizens and media outlets to verify information, refrain from circulating unverified news, and rely on official sources to avoid spreading rumors and causing confusion.
