Toronto: Poland’s Iga Swiatek captured her first title of the year by winning the Toronto Masters 1000 tennis tournament, after a resounding 6-2, 6-3 victory in the final over Kazakhstan’s Elena Rybakina.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Polish champion expressed her satisfaction after the win, stating, “The last few months haven’t been easy. I’m happy to continue focusing on development, raising my level of play a little, and improving.”
