Baghdad: The Head of the Watan Alliance, MP Yasser Iskandar Witwit, has declared that ongoing political bickering within Iraq’s House of Representatives is significantly hindering the passage of crucial legislation. The political discord reportedly stalled the approval of four contentious laws that were supposed to be passed collectively.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Witwit revealed in a statement that the disputes and quarrels within the parliament have been a major roadblock in advancing these important legislative measures.
