Kirkuk: The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) seized remnants of ISIS southwest of Kirkuk.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the PMF stated in a press release: “A force from the 61st Brigade, under the Northern and East Tigris Operations Command of the PMF, carried out a security operation within its area of responsibility in the Al-Abbasi district, southwest of Kirkuk Governorate. The operation resulted in the discovery of an inflatable boat belonging to ISIS terrorist gangs, which was used for movement and infiltration through the area’s waterways.”

The brigade’s units continue to carry out their security and proactive duties to enhance security and stability and prevent terrorist remnants from exploiting areas and waterways within their area of responsibility.
