Baghdad: Following Cabinet approval, the Minister of Education held a meeting to finalize preparations for the special session. Minister of Education Abdul Karim Abtan al-Jubouri convened with key educational officials, including the Undersecretary for Technical Affairs, the Head of the Permanent Examinations Committee, and the Director General of Evaluation and Examinations, to discuss the necessary steps to implement the special session examinations. This initiative comes in the wake of the Cabinet’s decision to offer a single examination opportunity to students who fit specific criteria.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting focused on the technical and organizational aspects crucial for the execution of these examinations. The special session is designed for students who have failed no more than four subjects in the third intermediate and sixth preparatory grades across all branches for the 2025-2026 academic year. Discussions included ensuring all procedures align with educational regulations and standards.

The Permanent Committee for Public Examinations has been tasked with determining the exact dates for these special session examinations. This will be done in accordance with the guidelines and regulations established by the Cabinet’s decision, ensuring a structured and fair opportunity for eligible students.
