Toronto: Portugal defeated Croatia 2-1 in their match at Toronto Stadium in Canada, advancing to the Round of 16 of the World Cup.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Croatia took the lead through Ivan Perisic in the 53rd minute, before Cristiano Ronaldo equalized for Portugal from the penalty spot in the 68th minute.

In stoppage time, substitute Gon§alo Ramos scored the winning goal for Portugal in the 94th minute, sending his team through to the next round.

Portugal will face Spain in the Round of 16 on Monday, July 6th, at Dallas Stadium (Arlington).
