Baghdad: President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid has expressed his approval of the recent agreement between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the Syrian government aimed at resolving the ongoing conflict through peaceful means and putting an end to hostilities.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, President Rashid emphasized the significance of this agreement for regional stability. He noted that the practical implementation of the agreement could serve as a pivotal step towards ensuring the rights of all nationalities and communities within a permanent constitution.

President Rashid expressed hope that this agreement would lay the groundwork for establishing peace, stability, and development, ultimately bringing an end to the war and destruction affecting various regions across Syria.
