Babylon: President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid arrived in the ancient city of Babylon to inaugurate the activities of the International Day of Babylonian Civilization. The event marks a significant occasion that highlights the city’s historical and cultural importance.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the President addressed reporters, expressing the symbolic significance of Babylon as a beacon of civilization to the world. He emphasized the importance of promoting Babylon and supporting its inclusion on the World Heritage List, which would recognize its historical value on an international scale.

The President further expressed hopes that the festival would succeed in attracting investment projects to the governorate. Such initiatives could play a crucial role in developing Babylon’s economic landscape and providing job opportunities for young people, thereby enhancing the quality of life and economic stability in the region.
