Baghdad: President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid received a message from Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri. A presidential statement indicated that the President welcomed MP Qabalan Qabalan, the envoy of Speaker Berri, at Baghdad Palace with Lebanese Ambassador Ali Adib Al-Habhab also present.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the message from Speaker Berri included greetings to President Rashid and expressed appreciation for Iraq’s supportive stances towards Lebanon. The communication highlighted the importance of strengthening Iraqi-Lebanese relations and discussed potential avenues for enhancing communication and coordination between the two nations.

President Rashid reciprocated the greetings and extended his best wishes to Speaker Berri and the Lebanese people, expressing a desire for their continued progress and prosperity. He emphasized the strong fraternal and cooperative ties between Iraq and Lebanon and stressed the importance of expanding these relationships across political, economic, and cultural domains to benefit both nations and enhance regional stability.
