Baghdad: President Nizar Amedi received Ambassador Adnan Azzara Al-Maajoun at Al-Salam Palace on Wednesday and presented him with his credentials as Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Malaysia. According to Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Media Department of the Presidency of the Republic detailed that President Amedi highlighted the crucial role of Iraq’s diplomatic missions in portraying the country’s civilization identity to the world. He emphasized the need to bolster Iraqi-Malaysian relations and ensure that the concerns and well-being of the Iraqi community in Malaysia are addressed.
The statement further conveyed the president’s wishes for Ambassador Al-Maajoun’s success in his new role and in fulfilling his diplomatic duties.
