President Amedi Highlights Shared Responsibility for Iraq’s Future

Accra:President of the Republic Nizar Amedi emphasized on Saturday the collective responsibility of building Iraq’s future.

According to Iraqi News Agency, President Amedi extended heartfelt congratulations to the Iraqi people on National Day, commemorating Iraq’s milestone of becoming an independent state and joining the League of Nations in 1932.

Reflecting on nearly a century of Iraqi history, President Amedi acknowledged the events, transformations, and hardships the nation has faced, including wars and crises. Despite these challenges, Iraqis have remained devoted to their homeland, overcoming adversity.

He stressed the importance of learning from the past and ensuring unity among the people to build a secure and stable Iraq. The goal is to establish a state that provides its citizens with a dignified life, better services, and genuine job opportunities.

President Amedi highlighted the necessity of sincere cooperation among state institutions, national forces, and society to prioritize citizens’ interests and the future of coming generations above all else.

Concluding his statement, President Amedi honored the martyrs of Iraq and their sacrifices, affirming that while much work remains, there are significant opportunities to build a stronger, more stable, and prosperous nation.
